Bob is a native Houstonian and received his BBA from Texas Christian University. He entered the mortgage business in 1975 and was a co-founder of the original Houston Capital Mortgage. He is a past director of the Greater Houston Association of Mortgage Brokers.

He holds a Texas Real Estate Broker's license. He is an active member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church. His interests include outdoor activities, such as cycling, travel and golf.
